Volunteers
Volunteering at NHS is a great way to get involved in revitalizing New Haven! We always have a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your talents and interests. Some examples of volunteer opportunities are:
- Advocate for the community by joining the NHS Board of Directors. Neighborhood residents comprise a majority of our board of directors, as mandated by NHS’ by-laws.
- Participate in our “sweat equity” community participation days to beautify our target neighborhoods.
- Volunteer to teach components of our pre- and post-purchase education classes.
- Get involved with special events that NHS hosts from time to time.
