Recent CB&O Volunteer Activities

Volunteering at NHS is a great way to get involved in revitalizing New Haven! We always have a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your talents and interests. Some examples of volunteer opportunities are:

  • Advocate for the community by joining the NHS Board of Directors. Neighborhood residents comprise a majority of our board of directors.
  • Participate in our “sweat equity” community participation days to beautify our target neighborhoods and add to the quality of our development projects.
  • Volunteer to teach components of our pre- and post-purchase education classes.
  • Get involved with special events that NHS hosts from time to time.

If you would like to participate in an event, please email scremin-endes@nhsofnewhaven.org or arawlings@nhsofnewhaven.org.
