Volunteers

Volunteering at NHS is a great way to get involved in revitalizing New Haven! We always have a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your talents and interests. Some examples of volunteer opportunities are:

  • Advocate for the community by joining the NHS Board of Directors. Neighborhood residents comprise a majority of our board of directors, as mandated by NHS’ by-laws.
  • Participate in our “sweat equity” community participation days to beautify our target neighborhoods.
  • Volunteer to teach components of our pre- and post-purchase education classes.
  • Get involved with special events that NHS hosts from time to time.

To learn more about volunteering at NHS, please contact  Stephen Cremin-Endes, (203) 562-0598, ext. 22.  We look forward to having you join our team!
