VISTA member RJ Mercede has been working with Mattie Stevenson, a West Haven resident and community building enthusiast, to cultivate a community garden on Stevens Street in the Hill neighborhood.

With the help of local artist Katro Storm, VISTA member Sarah Custer organized the creation of a mural on the side of a rundown building on Winchester Avenue in the Newhallville neighborhood.
