Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven, through it subsidiary, the New Haven HomeOwnership Center, is pleased to offer its clients the following homebuyer education programs:

• Pre-purchase Homebuyer Education Classes
• Budgeting and Financial Management Classes
• Individual Credit Counseling
• Home Improvement and Energy Conservation Laboratory for state-of-the-art, hands-on, do-it-yourself housing rehabilitation skills
• Landlord Training
• Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) counseling

Since 2001, NHS has been expanding both the depth and breadth of the homebuyer education services that we offer to our clients. Our Home Improvement and Energy Conservation Laboratory, opening in April 2008, will provide the finest hands-on post-purchase training available anywhere in Connecticut.
