Yale Students from the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity applied a waterproof paint to the basement walls of our house on Stevens Street.

In cooperation with Livable City Initiative, local residents took charge of a block of Howard Avenue between Carlisle and Putnam Streets. They picked up trash (including cigarette butts!), mowed grass, and connected with other residents to spread the word about maintaining the appearance of one's neighborhood. Pictures coming soon...

Yale brought volunteers to County Street for their Freshman Day of Service and cleaned up the front and back yards of one of our recently acquired properties. When they first started, the place was a mess! Check out the before and after photos. View pictures

Tuesday-Thursday, August 24-26, 2010
Yale Students and our new VISTA Members worked in the community for several days, doing home repairs for residents on Portsea Street and cleaning up trash on Blake Street.
